STAYYYGE make-up

Firstly, I am very sorry for my recent silence. Wednesday I had done nothing, Thursday I got locked out of my house and yesterday I had to go to a stage make-up lesson for three hours.

My make-up was awesome once I did it, Mr D took pictures. I didn't half feel like a slapper though. Ugh.
I'm sucha beaut when I look like this :D

I don't exactly have a lot to write, it's a Saturday, my brain's not exactly in gear and I have jobs to do. So I shall go and do them (clean the house). Have fun. I know I will do :S

I wrote this in English because I was having a muse + am no good at description.

I was talking to Mr Woods on Tuesday, and he used the phrase, "My usual self is a very unusual self." This rang about a hundred very large bells for me - because I am not normal. While some people's mothers would reassure them that, "You'll soon be back to your normal self," mine would usually (or should that be unusually?) use the phrase, "You'll soon be back to you abnormal self." This really used to bother me. I always wanted to be normal and fit in. Not anymore.

As teenagers we worry so much about being cool and fitting in with everyone. Keeping up appearances should not be more important than feeling comfortable in yourself and having fun. If you have to spend all your time worrying about whether what you're doing is cool enough for people, they're clearly not the people you want to be around. You'll realise that as soon as you've got new friends. I did.

To be honest, there's absolutely nothing wrong with being a bit different - there is really no such thing as a totally normal person because we are all different - it's what makes us special! Being a bit strange doesn't mean you can't fit in with people. I always have been, and while I can't claim to have ever been at the centre of my friendship group, equally odd types have.

Fun should be the most important thing in our lives right now. If you can be cool naturally then good for you, because you can have fun that way. But being yourself is so much easier, and once you find those friends who accept you for who you are, having a laugh is so much easier. Honest.

You make it real

So much craziness surroundin' me
So much goin' on, it gets hard to breathe
When all my faith has gone, you bring it back to me
You make it real for me

When I'm not sure of my priorities
When I've lost sight of where I'm meant to be
Like holy water washin' over me
You make it real for me

And I'm runnin' to you baby
'Cause you are the only one who saved me
That's why I've been missin' you lately
You make it real for me

When my head is strong but my heart is weak
I'm full of arrogance and uncertainty
When I can't find the words you teach my heart to speak
You make it real for me

And I'm runnin' to you baby
'Cause you are the only one who saved me
That's why I've been missin' you lately
You make it real for me

Everybody's talkin' in words I don't understand
You've got to be the only one who knows just who I am
You're shining in the distance, I hope I can make it through
'Cause the only place I want to be is right back home with you

I guess there's so much more I have to learn
But if you're here with me, I'll know which way to turn
You always give me somewhere, somewhere I can learn
You make it real for me

And I'm runnin' to you baby
'Cause you are the only one who saved me
That's why I've been missin' you lately
You make it real for me

You make it real for me.
