My mum and I had a long discussion last night about how there's no point making an effort with people who will use it to stab you in the back, and how you might want to say rude, rude things but you should keep your mouth shut. My mouth was relatively shut in that sitch though ;) Anyway, somehow that conversation moved on to why men have affairs and leave their wives and children (yes I know women do it as well, but name me one case).
And I guess the only reason you'd leave someone is because you think there's something better. A lot of the time people are wrong, like when they're married with kids and a nice house and they leave because they think they're going to find something better, but they aren't. You might as well just make the best of what you have, because it's what you have. You might be able to find some kind of equal, but never will you find better. That's a good life what you have, men on the brink of your mid-life crises.
